Visit Sunshine Coast in partnership with the Sunshine Coast Council invites you to express your interest in one of the must have booths for SCouT 2019, being held at the new Sunshine Coast Convention Centre (Novotel Twin Waters Resort). We are expecting up to 500 attendees to join this year!

SCouT 2019 combines the unique opportunity to showcase your products to other tourism operators, local industry partners, business associates and the Sunshine Coast Volunteer team. SCouT 2019 will also deliver an opportunity to hear from four leaders in their industries. This will be the number tourism event of 2019. Don’t miss out!

If you operate a tourism business on the Sunshine Coast, you are invited to showcase your business at the annual SCouT: Sunshine Coast Big Day Out for Tourism Operators on Tuesday, May 14 2019.

This tourism exchange-style event, hosted by Visit Sunshine Coast and Sunshine Coast Council, at the Sunshine Coast Convention Centre at Novotel Twin Waters Resort, will be an opportunity for local tourism operators to showcase their product and meet with other local businesses.

This will be a unique FREE opportunity for our local tourism businesses to potentially grow referrals to their business, discover new collaboration opportunities and hear from a range of leaders in the tourism industry. The day will also feature presentations by high-profile leaders.


8:45am – Registration

9:00am – 12:00pm            SCouT Volunteer Exchange

The morning will include discussions between volunteers from around the Sunshine Coast and tourism businesses to gain an understanding of their business. Following on from the success of the annual VIC Trade Day, tourism businesses will get a chance to promote their product/service to volunteers in a product knowledge exchange. The morning will also include an educational component with a Customer Service focused speaker to present.

The midday session will include lunch and a key note speaker followed by structured exchanges between the Exhibiting Businesses.
